Position: Part-Time  

We are seeking a passionate Product Design Intern to join our early-stage team and contribute to building Outlens, an innovative camera app designed specifically for couples. In this role, you will play a hands-on part in shaping the user experience of our app through real-world testing, user research, UI optimization, branding, and even AI-assisted content creation.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a very early-stage startup, where you'll see your work directly impact real users and their photography experiences. It's also a perfect chance to apply and practice what you've learned in class, participate in the full product launch journey—from ideation to release—and build valuable projects for your portfolio.

• Test the camera app in real-world environments with friends, partners, and family to gather authentic insights.
• Conduct user research and interviews to uncover unmet needs and provide detailed feedback.
• Optimize the UI design for key features, ensuring an intuitive and delightful experience.
• Explore opportunities to design and evolve the branding of the Outlens camera app.
• Leverage AI tools to create engaging videos for product introductions and marketing.

• Strong passion for human photography and capturing meaningful moments.
• Socially active and extroverted—comfortable engaging with people for testing and interviews.
• Detail-oriented, observant, and able to clearly articulate feedback and suggestions.
• No prior professional experience required—ideal for students or early-career individuals excited about photography and tech.
• Own an iPhone and comfortable installing test builds of the app.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Canva.
• Knowledge of photography principles and experience using various camera apps (e.g., native camera, Lightroom, VSCO).

$30 per hour. 10–40 hours per week, flexible based on your schedule
